• How do I increase flow rate of the filter?

  Filter should pump 500ml per minute. To ensure this flow rate, be sure to backwash the pre-filter every 2-3 Liters with clean water and clean, disassemble and dry after every trip.

• How do you store the filter if unused? What is the shelf life?

  If new and unused, sealed in their original packaging, the Survivor Filter PRO can be stored for a lifetime.

  Once used simply clean and disassemble, let the components and the filter air dry and store again in a low humid environment.

• Is it ready to use from the box?

  Yes, just pump 2 liters through before drinking to clear the system with tap water.

• What kind of water sources can you use this for?

  Fresh water only, no salt water, can be used on any fresh water lake river or stream.

• What do I do if I have an issue?
